"A Culture of Integrity – A Clean Sri Lanka": Badulla District Public Officials' Walk Concludes Successfully

Held in conjunction with the "A Culture of Integrity – A Clean Sri Lanka" national program, the "Walk for Integrity" organized by the Badulla District Secretariat took place on July 28, 2026. Centered in Badulla town, the event was held under the leadership of Badulla District Secretary Mr. Sunil Galagama. Aiming to foster an exemplary public service rooted in integrity, the walk commenced at the Badulla Wills Park grounds and proceeded along Badulla Main Street, passing the Muthiyangana Raja Maha Vihara and continuing to the bus stand. The event concluded successfully following a street drama performance by students of Uva University. Over 500 officials participated in the walk, representing various government institutions in the Badulla District, including the Sri Lanka Army, the Police, and other security forces.

Before assuming duties as the Badulla District Secretary, he served as the Additional Secretary (Development) to the Ministry of Health and Mass Media.
